Back to the Banyan Tree
Once I discover a good shooting location I find it extremely hard not to give into my temptations and shoot there more than once. Upon discovering a big Banyan tree I knew I'd be able to utilize it to its full potential, In some Asian cultures, the Banyan tree is considered a place where spirt's both good and bad seek refuge on this earth. A few of my friends were far from thrilled and extremely concerned for my spiritual well-being after seeing me use one in my recent YUKTA article. Despite their concern, I couldn't help wanting to come back and shoot there one last time. I feel that the Banyan tree provided the perfect backdrop for the exquisite Joshua Septhio piece I'm wearing in this post, blending perfectly wth its dark tone giving off a gloomy yet sophisticated vibe.
Without the Banyan Tree, I would not have been able to stand up long enough to show how the silhouette of the garment effortlessly adapted to the shape of the tree. Standing up during photo shoots is a big deal for me. My legs usually do not permit me to stand still for more than a minute causing my legs to feel a painful cramping sensation. I am however more than willing to go through this pain if it means I produce good images and content for my readers / followers. I strongly believe that my disability will not prohibit me in any way from doing what I'm passionate about and sharing my love for fashion with the world.
