Throughout Asia both established and up-and-coming designers are incorporating traditional techniques into their modern designs. One such technique is IKAT. For those who are unfamiliar with IKAT it is a method of dyeing used to pattern textiles. IKAT made garments are slowly increasing in popularity across the East and the West.Indonesian label IKAT Indonesia creates high-end IKAT clothing for both men and women. The jackets seen in this post are some of my favorite from their latest collection.
