MINU AUTUMN / WINTER 2019
Korean label MINU came back to Seoul Fashion Week with their sophomore collection that was just as fun and fresh as their first. Designer Minwoo Jo brought a colorful, carefree and youthful vide to the runways that are nowadays overrun with street style. MINU has great potential to become a brand that is commercial for a wide array of consumers internationally, especially in the West where men are only now beginning to become confident and comfortable sprucing up their wardrobes with crazier colors, patterns and styles of clothing that may have been seen as unmanly in the past. Designer Minwoo Jo’s are not as bold or daring as other menswear brands that have only found limited success outside of Asia. This autumn-winter collection is the perfect stepping stone for those wanting to try something new without totally going out of their comfort zone. I tend to wear pieces of the brands previous aw collection In Seoul on days where I want to effortlessly look good and feel comfortable and cozy. When October rolls around and Spring-Summer Seoul Fashion Week starts you’ll most probably see me in some of the pieces from this year’s Autumn-Winter collection. Be sure to look at the runway images below and let me know what pieces you think I should wear next season!
